* * * AVNEESH JHINGAN, J. (Oral) The present petition is filed challenging promotion-cum-transfer order dated 18.9.2020 whereby the petitioner was transferred to District Palwal. It is alleged that the transfer is in contravention of Teachers Transfer Policy2016. Learned counsel for the petitioner after arguing for some time and realising that Clause 9 (xvii) of the transfer policy (which is extracted below) provides a remedy, he does not wish to press the petition. "9. Procedure to be adopted:
xx xx xx (xvii) Within 15 days of issuance of orders, the teachers aggrieved with the transfer process can represent to the department after joinint at new place of posting, on a grievance redressal forum to be provided by the department in this behalf. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner has joined new place of posting and has represented on 22.9.2020, the same be decided in a time bound manner.
Learned counsel for the State appearing on advance notice submits that decision on the representation would be taken expeditiously in accordance with law.
