During the course of arguments, limited plea made by petitioner is that authorities may consider the case of the petitioner in light of judgment in CWP No 9239 of 2014 titled as Gurmukh Singh vs. State of Punjab & ors. decided on 24.09.2018 as well as policy dated 18.03.2011, Annexure R-1. Learned State counsel submits that matter shall be considered by the competent authority and a speaking order shall be passed within three months.

In view of above, no further direction is necessary. Petition is disposed of.
