Status report by way of affidavit of Satinder Kumar, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Central Jalandhar has been filed in court. Same is taken on record. Learned State counsel submits that alleged detenue namely Naina is in the company of her father (petitioner) of her own free will. Learned counsel appearing for respondents no. 6 to 8 does not dispute the aforesaid contention.

In view of stand taken by the State as well as private respondent, Mr. Thiara submits that he does not press the present petition. Dismissed as not pressed.
