In compliance of order dated 21.09.2023, status report by way of affidavit of Mr. Dalbir Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Headquarters Holding Additional Charge of Circle Ghanaur, District Patiala, has been filed by learned State counsel on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 4 in Court today, which is taken on record. Copy thereof has been supplied to the learned counsel for the petitioners. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has very fairly submitted that in light of the averments made in paras 03 & 04 of the status report, the present petition be disposed of.

The paras 03 & 04 of the status report is reproduced as under: 3.

That it is respectfully submitted that pursuant to the receipt of representation no. 2304/OP dated 23.06.2023 and 1246/CRM-OP dated 18.09.2023 moved by petitioner no.1, the PARUL 2024.01.04 11:45 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document same were marked to ASI Angrej Singh posted at Police

2023:PHHC:164272 CRWP-6168-2023 -2Station Shambhu. During the course of enquiry, the enquiry officer met the petitioner no. 1, who stated that he had already filed a case before this Hon'ble High Court and hence, donot want any action on the aforesaid representations moved by him. Therefore, the said representations were consigned as per law.

That it is respectfully submitted that in view of the protection of life and liberty of the petitioners, a PCR vehicle is deployed in the area of the petitioners, who is patrolling in the said area.

After hearing learned counsel for the parties, the present petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 4 to ensure that no untoward incident takes place.
