Grewal, Advocate for respondent No.6 and 7. *** ANIL KSHETARPAL, J (Oral) There are two civil suits pending in the Courts at Fatehgarh Sahib and Ropar with respect to entitlement of pensionary benefits of late Sh. Gurmukh Singh. The first suit was filed by the parents of deceased Gurmukh Singh at Ropar, whereas the second suit has been filed by alleged widow of late Sh. Gurmukh Singh at Fatehgarh Sahib.

Through this application, the alleged widow prays for transfer of the suit pending at Rupnagar. She claims that she has no one to support her and presently, she is residing at village Rampur Nadiali, District Fatehgarh Sahib. Rupnagar and Fatehgarh Sahib are adjoining districts. The distance between the two districts is not more more than 40 kms. Keeping in view the aforesaid fact, the civil suit No.687-2019 titled as 'Gurnam Singh and another Vs. UOI and others' pending in the Court of learned Civil Judge (Jr. Div.), Rupnagar, is ordered to be transferred to the Court of learned Civil Judge (Sr. Div.), Fatehgarh Sahib. TA-439-2020 (O&M) aforementioned suits shall be clubbed and proceeded together. The transferor Court is requested to remit the case file to the transferee Court forthwith. The parties are directed to appear before the learned Civil Judge (Sr. Div.), Fatehgarh Sahib on 30.09.2021.

Keeping in view the controversy involved, the Court at Fatehgarh Sahib is requested to make sincere endeavours for expeditious disposal of the suits.

All the pending miscellaneous applications, if any, are also disposed of.
