**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J.(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that in view of nature of injuries received by the petitioner, opinion of the Medical Board ought to have been obtained by the Investigating Officer. No such opinion was obtained and the petitioner had to move an application before the Chief Medical Officer, Patiala for constituting a Medical Board for giving necessary opinion in respect of injuries received by the petitioner. No action has been taken so far. Learned counsel further submits that as per CT Scan Report, fracture has been found in the squamous part of left temporal bone crossing across the left coronal suture into PRINCE SAINI 2022.07.28 16:16 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. C.L. Pawar, Sr. DAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the State/respondents. Having heard learned counsel for the parties, I deem it appropriate to direct respondents No.1 and 2 to constitute a Medical Board and inform the petitioner about the date on which the petitioner can be examined. On examination, necessary report shall be given to the Investigating Officer of FIR No.101 dated 14.06.2022 under Sections 323, 341, 506, 148, 149 IPC, Police Station Pasyana. The petitioner shall appear before the Medical Board along with all the documents.
