ANUPINDER SINGH GREWAL, J (ORAL) The petitioners are seeking a direction to the official respondents to protect their life and liberty as they apprehend danger from private respondents. Learned State counsel has filed status report by way of affidavit of Assistant Commissioner of Police (North), Police Commissionerate, Jalandhar on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3, which is taken on record. He while referring to the reply stated that matter was inquired into and the statements of the petitioners have been recorded wherein they have stated that they are satisfied and do not want any protection.

In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner wants to withdraw this petition at this stage.
