FAO-908-2008 (O&M) Appellant remained hospitalized from 22.09.2005 till 12.10.2005 and had to undergo surgery twice including skin grafting. As per the record the appellant was employed as Postal Assistant. There is no evidence on record to show future loss of income. Accordingly, the compensation awarded by the Tribunal is modified to the following extent :- Needless to say, the appellant shall be entitled to interest @7% per annum on the enhanced amount from date of filing of the claim petition till the date of actual realization. Any amount already paid to the claimant shall be set off.
