The petitioners have approached this Court under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, inter alia seeking quashing of notices dated 01.10.2007 and 09.10.2007 (Annexures P-3 and P-4, respectively) whereby the demand for deposit of the enhanced amount has been raised by the respondents.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that he may be allowed to withdraw the instant petition, with liberty to the petitioners to take recourse to the remedies, as may be available to them, in accordance with law.
