    is praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the application of the petitioner for allotment of fair price shop/ration depot of village Bugra, Tehsil Dhuri, District Sangrur strictly in accordance with policy dated 27.03.2026 (Annexure P-6). 2.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that despite the fact that the petitioner had submitted an application in the year 2024 seeking consideration for allotment of a fair price shop/ration depot, however, no decision thereon has been taken by the respondents till date.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner, submits that he will be satisfied if, at this stage, a direction is given to respondent No.3 to decide the legal notice dated 05.01.2026 (Annexure P-5) served by the petitioner in a time-bound manner.
