(ORAL) Through this Criminal Writ Petition under article 226 of the Constitution of India, prayer has been made for issuance of a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus, for releasing detenue-Dhamanpreet Kaur Gill, daughter of the petitioner from illegal custody of respondents No. 4 and 5. Learned State counsel submits that in compliance to the order dated 02.11.2018 of this Court, statement of alleged detenue-Dhamanpreet Kaur, has been got recorded on 05.11.2018, before the Court of Area Magistrate under Section 164 Cr.P.C., whereby she has desired to live with respondents No. 4 and 5, who are her maternal grand-mother and maternal uncle, with whom her mother had left her, while leaving for America. In view of the above factual aspect of the matter, the instant writ petition is dismissed.
