(ORAL) Reply by way of affidavit of Ajay Pal Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Moonak, on behalf of respondents No.1 to 4, filed in Court today is taken on record. Through this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for issuance of direction to the respondents to get released detenu namely Gurmel Singh husband of the petitioner from the illegal detention of his relatives. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Harbans Singh, submits that instant petition is completely frivolous inasmuch as husband of the petitioner, who is 65 years of age, has voluntarily gone with his nephew after payment of `10.00 lakh to the petitioner. Learned State counsel, referring to copy of the affidavit dated 16.03.2018 of the petitioner, further contends that petitioner in her said affidavit, which is duly signed by RAVINDER SINGH 2018.12.17 12:03 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document
-2CRWP-871 of 2018 her, has admitted to have received `10.00 lakh from the alleged detenu. In view of above, petition is dismissed.
