The challenge in the present writ petition is to quash seniority list dated 17.08.2020 (Annexure P-12) and to direct the respondentCorporation to place the petitioner above respondent No.3 in the seniority list by accepting his objections.

In response, written statement dated 13.09.2024 has been filed on behalf of respondents No.1 and 2. A perusal of paragraph No.21 thereof reveals that both the petitioner and respondent No.3 were promoted on the same date. Therefore, the dispute regarding the seniority list is resolved. Along with the said written statement, Annexure R-2/2 is attached in support of the said contention.
