NIDHI GUPTA, J. (ORAL) The petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 0062 dated 24.03.2023 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 306 and 506 read with Section 34 IPC at Police Station Lambi, District Sri Muktsar Sahib.

On 23.06.2023, this Court had passed the following order :- "The prayer in the present petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case bearing FIR No.0062 dated 24.03.2023, under Sections 306, 506 and 34 IPC, registered at police station Lambi, District Sri Muktsar Sahib.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no role to the suicide of the daughter-in-law of the complainant; petitioner has been falsely implicated being mother of co-accused- Kulwant Singh; co-accused Kulwinder Singh has already been granted interim bail by this court vide order dated 02.06.2023 passed in CRM-M29030 of 2023; there is no suicide note and all the allegations have been concocted afterwards, however, she is

-2ready to join investigation.

Notice of motion.

At the asking of the Court, Mr. Harpreet Singh, Addl. A.G. Punjab, appears and accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State. A copy of the paper book be supplied to him during the course of the day. He seeks some time to file status report.

Status report be filed on or before the next date of hearingwith advance copy to the counsel opposite. Meanwhile, in the eventuality of arrest of the petitioner in the instant case, she shall be enlarged on interim bail subject to her furnishing personal bond/surety bond to the satisfaction of Investigating Officer/Arresting Officer. The petitioner shall join the investigation as and when called upon to do so by the Investigating Agency. The petitioner shall abide by the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. in letter and spirit.

List on 18.08.2023.

To be heard alongwith CRM-M-29030-2023.".

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance of the order dated 23.06.2023 passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined the investigation.

Status report dated 18.08.2023, filed by way of affidavit of Sh. Fateh Singh Brar, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, SubDivision Malout, District Sri Muktsar Sahib on behalf of respondent No. 1-State of Punjab, is taken on record.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from SI Amar Singh states that in terms of the order passed by this Court, reproduced above, the petitioner has joined the investigation and no further interrogation is required at this stage.

In view of the above, the order dated 23.06.2023 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute. However, the petitioner shall abide by the conditions stipulated under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. She shall also join the

-3investigation and cooperate with the investigating agency in case she is required for the same in future as and when called upon to do so. In case at any given point of time hereinafter, it is felt by the investigating agency that the petitioner is required for the investigation but is not cooperating, they will be at liberty to approach this Court for passing appropriate orders.

The petition stands disposed of.
