The present petition is under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No. 68 dated 28.06.2023, registered under Section 25 of Arms Act, at Police Station City 2, Abohar, Punjab.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that it is only on the disclosure statement of the main accused that the petitioner has been implicated in the present FIR.

Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent - State and submits that a pistol is yet to be recovered from the petitioner and for that purpose custodial interrogation of the petitioner is required. Since the pistol is yet to be recovered from the petitioner and the allegations against the petitioner are serious in nature, I do not find any merit in the present petition, which is accordingly dismissed. 7.
