**** SUKHVINDER KAUR , J. (Oral) Prayer in the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of directions to official respondent Nos.1 to 3 to produce the detenue - Manpreet Kaur who is in illegal detention of respondent Nos.4 to 9.
Status report by way of affidavit of Inderjit Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division Rajasansi, Amritsar (Rural) filed on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 3 - State, is taken on record. As per para-5 of the status report, detenue was recovered by the Investigating Officer on 24.05.2025 and she was taken to Civil Hospital Ajnala, Amritsar (Rural) for her medical examination but she refused to undergo any medical examination and thereafter she was produced before Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Ajnala, Amritsar on 24.05.2025 for recording of her statement under Section 183 of BNSS SANGEETA 2025.05.29 18:37 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CRWP-5135-2025 wherein she stated that she had eloped with respondent No.4 at her own and he had not developed any physical relationship with her. It has also been informed by learned State Counsel that presently detenue - Manpreet Kaur is at Nari Niketan, Amritsar. Therefore, no further order is required to be passed. Disposed of accordingly.
