***** DAYA CHAUDHARY J. (ORAL) In this petition, petitioners have prayed for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ/order or direction directing the respondents not to demolish their pucca houses and also not to forcibly evict them from the same as they have been residing therein for the last 50 years.
After hearing the arguments raised by learned counsel for the petitioners and on perusal of the documents, it is revealed that a representation dated 10.12.2019 (Annexure P-2) is still pending with the respondents-authority.

Without commenting anything on the merits of the case and keeping in view of the fact that the representation filed by the petitioners is still pending with the respondents and no action has been taken thereupon so far, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3The Estate Officer, HUDA, to take appropriate action on the said representation (Annexure P-2) in accordance with law within a period of 4 weeks from the date of the receipt of certified copy of the order passed by this Court. In case, the petitioners are required for any assistance, the opportunity be given to them. Further, if the petitioners are still aggrieved in any manner qua the decision on their said representation, they will be at liberty to avail the appropriate remedy.
Disposed of.
