Short reply by way of affidavit of Gurtej Singh Sandhu, DSP, Sub Division, Sri Muktsar Sahib has been filed in court. Same is taken on record. According to State counsel, brother of the petitioner namely Vijay Kumar was summoned by police under section 160 Cr.P.C. as a complaint was received against him. According to him, matter has been compromised. Petitioner is no longer in illegal detention and shall not be harassed in any manner.

In view of above, no cause of action thus, survives in this petition. Dismissed.
