The present petition has been filed under Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondent for violation of the order dated 25.02.2025 passed by this Court in CRWP-1878-2025 titled as 'Surinder Singh V/s State of Punjab and Others'.

Mr. Vishnav Gandhi, DAG Punjab, on the instructions from Inspector Gurinder Singh Dhillon, SHO, Nurpur Bedi, states that the representation dated 24.01.2025 since stands decided by a speaking order and the same had been filed as there was no threat perception. 3.

Faced with the same, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present contempt petition. 4.

Dismissed as withdrawn. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
