Prayer in the instant petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of directions to respondent No.2 to provide protection of life and liberty to the petitioner at the hands of respondent No.3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has contended that the petitioner is having threat at the hands of private respondent No.3. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has already moved a representation dated 04.06.2024, Annexure P-6 to respondent No.2. He has further submitted that he would be satisfied if the aforesaid representation is decided in a time bound manner. 3.
