Through the instant petition, petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 0138 dated 17.11.2023 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 341, 323, 354-A, 506, 148 and 149 of IPC, 1860, (Section 354-A IPC was later converted to Section 354 IPC) at Police Station Bhogpur, District Jalandhar Rural, Punjab.

On 18.06.2024, following order was passed:
"Inter alia contends that on an earlier occasion the complainant and her husband had damaged the road and a complaint in this regard was given to the Block Development and Panchayat Officer and a compromise was effected, in which the husband of the complainant apologized and took responsibility of getting the damage fixed. Reference has been made in the said regard to compromise dated 17.08.2021 (Annexure P-2). It is further submitted that the present occurrence is alleged to have taken place on 11.11.2023 whereas the statement of the complainant was recorded after a delay of 6 days on 17.11.2023 and the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that after a period of 4 months, Section 354-A IPC has been AMANDEEP GOSAIN 2024.07.23 23:05 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment
CRM-M-30126-2024 - 2converted into Section 354 IPC without any reasonable basis. It is further submitted that although initially a cross case was registered i.e. DDR no.3 dated 18.11.2023 at Police Station Bhogpur, it was later on cancelled wrongfully by the police.
Notice of motion for 22.07.2024.
In the meantime, in the event of arrest, the petitioner is ordered to be released on interim bail subject to his furnishing personal bonds and surety to the satisfaction of Arresting / Investigating Officer. However, the petitioner shall join the investigation as and when called upon to do so and shall abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C." 3.
Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Parmjeet Singh, submits that in compliance of order dated 18.06.2024 passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined the investigation and is not required for further custodial interrogation.

Keeping in view the statement made by learned State Counsel the order dated 18.06.2024, is made absolute. The petitioner shall abide by the terms and conditions enumerated in Section 438(2) of Cr.P.C. 5.
The petition is accordingly allowed.
