The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 23.04.2026 passed by this Court in CRWP-4585-2026, whereby respondents were directed to consider and decide the representation moved by the petitioner. 2.

Notice of motion.

On asking of the Court, Mr. Ravneet S. Joshi, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and submits that in compliance of order dated 23.04.2026 passed by this Court in CRWP-4585-2026, a speaking order dated 25.04.2025 has been passed by the Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar (Rural). He has produced a copy of the said speaking order dated 25.04.2025 in the Court. The same is taken on record. A copy thereof has already been given to learned counsel for the VIRENDRA SINGH ADHIKARI 2026.05.21 19:06 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

In view of the above, since order dated 23.04.2026 passed by this Court in CRWP-4585-2026, has been complied with, therefore, the present contempt is purged and rule stands discharged. 5.

Needless to say that the petitioner is at liberty to avail remedy as is available to him in accordance with law to challenge the said speaking order dated 25.04.2025.
