Limited prayer made in the present writ petition is for decision of the proceedings pending before the concerned authority under section 7 of the Punjab Village Common Land (Regulations) Act, 1961. According to learned counsel, there has been inordinate delay in conduct of the proceedings. Notice of motion.

On the asking of court, Mr. Raman Sharma, Addl. A. G. Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of the official respondent(S). In the facts and circumstances of the case, we direct that in case any petition filed by petitioner-Gram Panchayat is pending before the concerned authority, it shall endeavor to decide the same at the earliest, in any case not later than five months.
