(ORAL) It is stated that despite making number of efforts to get reinstate the workman in the petitioner-organization, there is some misunderstanding between the respondent-workman and the petitioner. Therefore, in stead of reinstatement and backwages awarded by the Labour Court, matter could be decided by giving compensation to the respondent-workman. Undisputedly petitioner has rendered for about a one year and few days. Therefore, the petitioner is hereby directed to pay compensation of Rs.1 Lakh within a period of three months from today, failing which respondent is entitled to interest @ 9 per cent per annum from today. The petition stands disposed of.
