Dated Police Station Sections 06.12.2017 STF, Phase-4, SAS Nagar, Mohali 21/29-61-85 of NDPS Act and Section 18 & 25 of NDPS Act added later on 1.

The petitioner incarcerated in the FIR captioned above, has come up before this Court under Section 483 r/w 528 BNSS, 2023 for grant of interim regular bail on the ground to attend marriage of his son. 2.

Counsel for the petitioner prays for interim bail on the ground of marriage of his son. 3.

State counsel opposes the bail, however, he has verified the factum of marriage and handed over photocopy of marriage invitation card and some other photographs regarding pre-wedding rituals. 4.

In the Indian Society, role of a father is to make arrangements of wedding, customs require presence of father on each and every step and time is required to make preparations before wedding and even after the wedding. Thus in the entirety of facts and circumstances of the case, petitioner is entitled to interim bail. 5.

Given above, provided the petitioner is not required in any other case, the petitioner shall be released on interim bail in the FIR captioned above subject to furnishing bonds to the satisfaction of the concerned Court and due to unavailability before any nearest Ilaqa ANJU RANI 2025.05.21 12:04 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Punjab and Haryana High Court Chandigarh

In case the attesting officer wants to verify the authenticity, such an officer can also verify its authenticity and may download and use the downloaded copy for attesting bonds. 10.
