Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on the statement of petitioner, FIR No.63 dated 15.04.2019 for the offence punishable under Section 302 read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code was registered at Police Station Sadar Sangrur against respondents No.5 to 7, who were arrested by the police but later on released. The police is not proceeding further with the investigation and the private respondents are posing threat to the life and liberty of petitioner and his family members. A representation (Annexure P-3) was made to Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur but no action was taken on it.

Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur to look into the grievance of petitioner as put forth by learned counsel for the petitioner, verify the same and take appropriate action in accordance with law.
