Mr. Davinder Kumar, Advocate, for respondent No.2. RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) In compliance of order dated 20.01.2020, learned counsel for the petitioner has produced receipts of `20,000/-. The same are taken on record.

Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.0291 dated 12.12.2018 registered under Sections 465, 467, 468, 471 IPC pertaining to Police Station Civil Lines, Bathinda, and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 14.06.2019 (Annexure P-3) arrived at between the parties.

Pursuant to order dated 05.07.2019 of this Court, the parties appeared before learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bathinda, on 23.07.2019 to get their statements recorded. Learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bathinda, has submitted his report vide letter bearing No.430 dated 03.08.2019, duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, RAVINDER SINGH 2020.02.06 09:50 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

-2CRM-M-28197 of 2019 Bathinda, vide letter No.1304 dated 05.08.2019. According to the above report, compromise entered into between the parties is without any pressure or coercion. Same is genuine, voluntary and in the interest of the parties. Therefore, in view of above and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony in relations between the parties, FIR No.0291 dated 12.12.2018 and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, are quashed.

Disposed of accordingly.
