The present petition has been filed for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to grant benefit of Contribution Pension Scheme dated 12.12.2006 to the petitioners w.e.f. the date of their initial appointment and to deposit the necessary amount along with interest in their accounts on the ground that similarly situated employees have been granted the same benefit in view of judgment passed by this Court in C.W.P. No. 5906 of 2013 titled as Balwinder Singh and others Vs. State of Punjab and others decided on 19.3.2013. Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that some of the similarly situated persons have approached this Court by way of filing C.W.P. No. 22416 of 2014, which was disposed of vide order dated 3.11.2014. Learned counsel also submits that case of the present petitioners is identical to the case of the petitioners in C.W.P. No. 5906 of 2013 and

C.W.P No. 15329 of 2016 (2) their claim be considered in view of ratio of said judgment. Without issuing notice to the respondents, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider the case of the petitioners in view of judgment rendered in Balwinder Singh's case (supra).
