Admittedly, appeals filed by the present petitioners with regard to this very dispute are pending before the Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, District Karnal (respondent No.4). One of the reliefs claimed in the present writ petition is for issuance of direction to such authority to decide the appeals filed by the petitioners.

Under the circumstances, it would be proper and appropriate to issue such direction and in that way, dispose of the present writ petition. Therefore, the writ petition in hand is disposed of directing respondent No.4 to decide the appeals filed by the petitioners (Annexures P-14 and P-15) within two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
