The present writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to recalculate the petitioner's leave encashment by including 6 wrongly denied earned leaves and by applying the correct formula and consequently release the balance amount of Rs.40,050/- to petitioner without any further delay along with 15% interest. Further praying for quashing the impugned speaking order dated 18.11.2025 (Annexure P-2) to the extent that it wrongly calculates the petitioner's earned leaves. Further praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents to forthwith release the penalty amount of PUNEET CHAWLA 2026.07.03 13:54 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP-14781-2026 Rs.50,000/- to the petitioner, as imposed by this Court vide order dated 07.04.2025 (Annexure P-1) passed in CWP-9976-2025. 2.

After arguing the matter for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he does not wish to press the present writ petition and seeks permission to withdraw the same.

In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. 4.

Consequently, all pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
