The petitioner has already paid the licence fees for operating vends under L-2 and L-14 licence. At this stage, the petitioner merely seeks an order directing the respondents to take a decision on his representation (Annexure P-5 to P-7) interalia to the effect that his vends fall outside the prescribed area. As a licence is only for a period of one year and almost two months have lapsed, the respondent concerned is directed to take a decision latest by 5.6.2017. The petition is disposed of accordingly.
