The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for directing the respondents No.1 to 3 to safeguard the life and liberty of the petitioners as they got married against the wishes of private respondents.

In pursuance to the order dated 03.10.2023, the parties have interacted and met at the Mediation Centre, Tarn Taran on 07.10.2023. 3.

It is a classic case where the petitioners have relied upon Aadhar Card No.550955186280 and claim the date of birth of petitioner No.2-Navjot Kaur to be 02.10.2004 whereas the parents of petitioner No.2 appeared before this Court and have relied upon the matriculation certification, which demonstrates that the correct date of birth of petitioner Manju 2023.12.12 15:08 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

It has become an alarming situation where the petitions are being filed by manipulating the Aadhar Cards and the date of birth therein. The purpose of having an Aadhar Card is being vitiated by such kind of fraud and hence, the respondents-authorities are directed to look into the matter by lodging appropriate complaint/FIR by summoning the records and verifying the same from the UIDAI. Appropriate action needs to be taken against such persons, who are tampering with the official records just for their own whim and fancies.
