The petitioners have filed their objections under Section 3(C) of the National Highways Act, 1956 (for brevity,'the 1956 Act') against the Notification issued by National Highway Authority of India under Section 3(A) of the 1956 Act. It is not in dispute that the petitioners have been heard by the Competent Authority yesterday in furtherance of those objections. [2] We have no reason to doubt that the Competent Authority will consider and decide those objections in accordance with law before any further notification is issued. The prescribed Authority is directed to decide the objections within two months [3] Disposed of.
