(ORAL) On 28.08.2023, when the learned State counsel had informed the Court, on instructions, that the petitioner was a habitual offender as he was involved in other criminal cases of similar nature, a prayer had been made by learned counsel for verifying about the antecedents of the petitioner and getting relevant instructions in the said regard as the petition is completely silent qua his involvement in other criminal cases.

Today, learned counsel for the petitioner, at the outset, submits that he does not press the instant petition. Dismissed as not pressed.
