The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 01.09.2025 passed by this Court in CRWP-9471-2025, whereby direction was issued to the respondents to decide the legal notice/application dated 07.02.2025 filed by the petitioner for his pre-mature release.

On asking of the Court, Mr. Ravneet S. Joshi, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and submits that the petitioner is not eligible for pre-mature release at this stage. 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the same. 5.

In view of the above, the present contempt is purged and rule stands discharged.
