(Oral) Prayer in the present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ, order or direction in the nature of habeas corpus for the release of detenue Praveen Kaur, who is minor daughter of the petitioner and is in illegal custody of respondents No.4 to 7. 2.

Learned State counsel has filed status report dated 03.07.2024, by way of affidavit of Achhru Ram Sharma, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division, Jalalabad, on behalf of the respondents No.1 to 3, in Court today, which is taken on record.

Today, the alleged detenue namely Praveen Kaur is present in Court and has stated that now she has turned major and she was not been forcibly abducted and is willing to accompany with respondent No.4. 4.

In view of the status report filed and oral statement given by the KAVITA NAIN 2024.07.26 13:18 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document order/judgment

CRWP-5718-2024 - 2 - alleged detenue-Praveen Kaur, this Court is of the view that the detenue is not in illegal custody or confinement.
