**** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (ORAL) After arguing for some time, counsel for the petitioner states that the Principal, who had no authority to decide the claim of the petitioner for the grant of pension, has sent a reply to the legal notice declining the claim of the petitioner.

On being pointed out as to whether the petitioner has approached the higher authorities i.e. competent authority, who is to decide her case for the grant of pension, after the same was rejected by the Principal, counsel for the petitioner states that he may be allowed to withdraw the present writ petition with a liberty to approach the appropriate/competent authority for the redressal of the grievance of the petitioner for the grant of pension, as according to him, petitioner has more than 10 years of service to her credit, which would entitle her the grant of benefit of pension.
