On 04.07.2023, the following order was passed by this Court:- The petitioner through the instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is seeking setting aside of show cause notice dated 09.06.2023 (Annexure P-9) whereby respondent has proposed to terminate gas agency of the petitioner on the ground that the petitioner is practising as an Advocate.
Learned counsel for the caveator-respondent, at the outset, submits that petitioner has already filed reply to show cause notice which is under active consideration of the competent authority. If the authority finds no fault on the part of the petitioner, show cause notice would be dropped and if any substance is found in the show cause notice, the petitioner PARAMJIT KAUR SAINI 2023.10.19 14:07 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
2023:PHHC:136341 would be granted opportunity of personal hearing and thereafter appropriate order would be passed, thus, till the passing of order by competent authority, the present petition may be kept in abeyance.

Learned counsel for IOC, at the outset, submits that petitioner has already been heard in August'2023 and an appropriate order would be passed in due course.

In the wake of statement of learned counsel for IOC, the petition stands disposed of. It is made clear that in case an adverse order is passed, it would not come into force for next two weeks so that the petitioner may avail remedy as permissible by law.
