**** Rakesh Kumar Jain, J. (Oral) This petition is filed for seeking a direction to the respondents to protect life and liberty of the petitioners, allegedly being threatened by the private respondents, who are not allowing the petitioners to do their business being their competitors.
According to the respondents, the earlier complaint made by the petitioners was looked into, both the parties were called and, thereafter, a compromise was arrived at between them.
However, counsel for the petitioners has submitted that even thereafter, the same thing is happening again and hence, the present petition has been filed.
After hearing counsel for both the parties and examining the
VINOD KUMAR 2016.09.14 12:46 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh CWP No.17095 of 2014 [ 2 ] ***** available record, I am of the considered opinion that the private respondents have no right to interfere in the life and liberty of the petitioners, which is guaranteed to them under Article 21 of the Constitution of India and hence, the present petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondents No.1 to 3 to consider the representation made by the petitioners and decide the same, after hearing both the parties involved in this case, as early as possible, preferably within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and in case it is found that the petitioners require protection, the same shall be provided to them.
