**** KIRTI SINGH , J. (Oral) This petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. has been filed seeking anticipatory bail in case bearing FIR No.196 dated 31.05.2024 under Sections 448, 452, 454, 506, 511/34 of IPC registered at Police Station Civil Lines, Jind.

Today, status report dated 20.07.2024, by way of an affidavit of Geetika Jakhar, HPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Jind, Women Safety on behalf of the respondent-State, has been filed by learned State counsel, in Court today, which is taken on record. A copy thereof has been handed over to the counsel for the petitioner. 3.
The learned State counsel, while opposing the relief of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, refers to paragraph Nos. 5 to 8 of the status report, which are reproduced below:

That in compliance of the order dated 05.06.2024 of this Hon'ble Court the petitioner on dated 24.06.2024 appeared before the investigating police officer of the case at Police Station Civil Line Jind, She was joined in the investigation and during enquiry the petitioner suffered her disclosure statement Dated 24.06.2024
- 2 - Annexure R-1, and demarcated the place of occurrence, where she and three associates tried to break the lock. 6.
That in the present case, the investigation remains incomplete as the petitioner have not cooperated in the investigation, she have not disclosed the name of her three associates,. The three associates of the petitioner are yet o to be identified and the Iron Road with which they have tried to break lock is yet to be recovered. 7.
That the antecedents of the petitioner is also not clear, besides the present case following case are found to be registered against her Sr.

8. These cases clearly show that the activities of the petitioner are against the norms of civil society and that she might indulge in other illegal activities. Furthermore the investigation in the present case has not completed and if petitioner/accused is released on bail then she may hamper the investigation. Thus in consideration of the nature and gravity of offence allegedly committed by the petitioner/accused no ground is made out for granting anticipatory bail to the applicant/accused.

In view of the aforesaid status report and considering the fact that petitioner has not cooperated in the investigation, this Court is of the view that the petitioner is not entitled to concession of anticipatory bail.
