Through the instant petition, a prayer is made for quashing of FIR No.03 dated 12.01.2016, under Sections 323, 341, 326, 34 of the IPC, registered at P.S. Fatehgarh Churrian, District Gurdaspur, Police District Batala, on the basis of compromise.

The learned State counsel has filed a status report, on affidavit of Khushbir Kaur, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Fatehgarh Churian, Police District Batala, which is taken on record.

What emanates from a survey of the status report, is that, after completion of investigation in the FIR (supra), a Cancellation Report became filed before the learned Illaqa Magistrate concerned, which has been accepted by the latter. Therefore, the cause of action, as canvassed in DEVINDER YADAV 2024.07.09 17:39 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CRM-M-30150-2024 the instant petition, does not survive any longer. 4.

Therefore, on account of supervening events (supra), the present petition has become infructuous.
