**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL , J. (ORAL) Case is being taken up for hearing through video conferencing. Through the instant petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 40 dated 29.5.1999, registered under Sections 302, 201, 34 IPC, Police Station Khamanon, District Fatehgarh Sahib. Vide order dated 10.11.2020, the arrest of the petitioner was stayed and he was directed to file an application for anticipatory bail before the District Court, Fatehgarh Sahib.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that pursuant to the order dated 10.11.2020 passed by this Court, the petitioner has approached the Court below, and vide order dated 24.12.2020, he was granted anticipatory bail. Learned counsel has produced the copy of the order dated 24.12.2020.
Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Avtar Ali, submits that the petitioner has joined investigation and is not required for GURPREET SINGH 2021.03.25 17:50 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chadigarh any further investigation.
