Mr. Nitin Sansanwal, Advocate for the petitioners. ***** KIRTI SINGH, J.(Oral) This petition has been filed for seeking a direction to the official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of private respondents (arrayed in the petition) in view of the fact that they are living in a live-in relationship and are under eminent threat at the hands of respondents No.4 to 7.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are in a live-in relationship against the wishes of respondents No. 4 to 7 and they apprehend danger at the hands of private respondents No.4 to 7. They have placed on record the copy of birth certificate of petitioner No.1 and Aadhar card of petitioner No.2 (Annexures P-1 and P-2 respectively) to substantiate their claim. The petitioners have also submitted a representation dated 10.06.2024 (Annexure P-3) to respondent No.2. 3.

Notice of motion to the official respondents only. 4.

Mr. Saurabh Girdhar, AAG, Haryana, who is present in Court, accepts notice for the official respondents. Without commenting upon the validity of relationship between the parties and entering upon an exercise to evaluate the evidentiary value of the documents placed on the file, I dispose of this petition with direction to respondent No.2 to decide the representation of the petitioners (Annexure P3) within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order and grant them protection, if there is any threat to their life and liberty.

It is made clear that above direction shall not be taken to be a bar on initiation of any proceedings which may be felt necessary in accordance with law.
