(ORAL) This petition has been filed in public interest seeking an inquiry into the incident that had occurred between the farmers and the administration. While this Court has not issued any notice in the matter, Mr. Baldev Raj Mahajan, learned Advocate General, Haryana, on instructions, informs this Court that on 22.09.2021, the Council of Ministers, Haryana has approved the appointment of Mr. Justice Som Nath Agarwal (Retired), Punjab and Haryana High Court to conduct judicial inquiry into the matter under the Commission of Inquiry Act, 1952.

In view of the aforesaid statement made by learned Advocate General, Haryana, nothing further survives for adjudication in the petition which is accordingly disposed of taking his statement as well as the document placed before this Court on record as Annexure 'X'.
