Without expression of any opinion on merits of the case regarding the entitlement of the petitioner for grant of permit for operation of the Light Motor Vehicle, as claimed in the petition, I am of the considered opinion that legal notice dated 22.3.2017 (Annexure P-5) submitted by the petitioner for grant of permit can be decided by passing a speaking order within a period of two months after receipt of the certified copy of the order. Notice of motion. On asking of the Court, notice has been accepted by Ms. Anu Pal, AAG, Punjab. Copy given. The writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to consider the claim of the petitioner for permit of Light Motor Vehicle, as put forth in legal notice (Annexure P-5), within a period of two months after the receipt of a certified copy of the order.
