Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is resident of Amritsar and occurrence had taken place at Jind. The accused being influential persons are causing threat to the life of petitioner and his witnesses.
The above submissions of learned counsel for petitioner makes out no ground for transfer of case from Jind to Amritsar. The petitioner can make representation to the Superintendent of Police, Jind about the threats given to him and his witnesses. On receipt of the representation, Superintendent of Police, Jind will verify the same and take appropriate action to ensure safety of petitioner and his witnesses so that they could depose before the trial court.
