CWP-15499-2026 CWP-15499-2026 (O&M) Prayer in this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to promote the petitioner as Deputy Chief Accounts Officer w.e.f. 28.06.2019 (Annexure P-4), i.e., from the date when his junior, Sh. Chander Mohan, was promoted, with all consequential benefits of seniority, promotion, and financial benefits, including arrears thereof with interest @18% per annum. Further prayer has been made to promote the petitioner on the post of Chief Accounts Officer and to take an appropriate legal action against the officials of respondents by fixing their responsibility who, with mala fide intention, withheld the promotion of the petitioner.

After arguing the case for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file a fresh petition with better particulars.

Dismissed as withdrawn with liberty aforesaid. Pending miscellaneous application, if any, also stands disposed of.
