This petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS 2023 (corresponding Section 482 Cr.P.C.) seeking directions to official respondents No. 1 and 2 to take legal action against respondents No.3 and 4 especially respondent No.3-SHO Police Station Dinanagar, District Gurdaspur for illegally interfering in a purely civil property dispute and threatening and intimidating the petitioner and his family members and attempting to dispossess the petitioner from property in dispute.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has preferred a representation dated 10.05.2026 (Annexure P-3) to respondent No.2Senior Superintendent of Police, Gurdaspur but no action has been taken so far. Learned counsel submits that he would be satisfied if directions are issued to respondent No.2- Senior Superintendent of Police, Gurdaspur to look into his representation and take appropriate steps at the earliest. 3.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited prayer made by the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2- Senior Superintendent of Police, Gurdaspur to consider and decide the representation dated 10.05.2026 (Annexure P-3) of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and pass an appropriate order.
