Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner in his application applied for getting Certificate of Practice as Notary only in the area of District Courts at SAS Nagar, Mohali. The certificate has been wrongly issued to the petitioner for the area of District Courts at Rupnagar. Petitioner never applied for grant of certificate of practice as Notary in the area of District Courts at Rupnagar.

CWP No. 17358 of 2021 -2At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already issued a legal notice regarding rectification of place of practice from the area of District Courts, Rupnagar to SAS Nagar, Mohali. The legal notice dated 12.03.2021 is still pending with the competent authority.

Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner would be satisfied in case his legal notice is ordered to be decided by the competent authority within a specified time. In view of nature of order which this Court proposes to pass, there is no necessity of calling upon response from the respondents at this stage, as no order prejudicial to the interest of any party is being passed.

This petition is disposed of with a request to respondent No.3 to take notice of pending legal notice dated 12.03.2021 and decide the same in accordance with law preferably within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
