Isha and Saurabh, the petitioners before this Court, claim themselves to be major. It has been pleaded that they have married against the wishes of the respondent No.4 to 6 and seek protection to their life and liberty. They apprehend danger from the respondent No.4 to 6. They have placed on record marriage certificate (Annexure P4) evidencing their marriage. The petitioners have submitted a representation dated 21.06.2023 (Annexure P5) to the respondent No.2.

Without entering upon an exercise to evaluate the evidentiary value of the documents placed on the file, this Court disposes of the writ petition with directions to the respondent No.2 to decide the representation of the petitioners (Annexure P5) within a period of one month and grant DEEPAK KUMAR BHARDWAJ 2023.06.27 15:40 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document them protection, if any threat to their life and liberty is perceived.
